FAQs

According to a 2014 JEC report, up to 52% of candidates were eligible for JEE Advanced and those who relied on self-study to pass the entrance exam. The proportion of applicants who applied to JEE in 2014 using training courses was 48%, down from self-study data.

Some IIT zones had more than 60% of JEE eligible applicants who were on the list with their self-study only. For example, Guwahati region saw more than 63% of the applicants, who relied on the self-preparation mode.

According to the official report, six out of the seven regions of IIT show that more than 50% of the students are eligible for the JEE Advanced, those who have prepared themselves for this entrance exam. Madras was the only IIT district where the percentage of eligible applicants was higher than for internship classes.

It is difficult to pass the tests of national competitions like IIT JEE. Many students dream of completing an engineering course at Top IIT. Breaking JEE Hands and JEE Advanced is not possible in a few days or months, but it requires continuous efforts for two long years. If a student is focused and studying regularly, a daily review of the concept and solving questions on each topic will be successful on the first try.

Study hours have no fixed rules, only some students learn for 2 hours, 4 hours and so. While studying chemistry, you need to fully concentrate on that specific subject only. A practice test/exam after studying is very important. Allow 1 to 2 hours to resolve the issues you are investigating. Therefore, a 4-5 hour grade 11 course is useful for JEE.

If the exam date is approaching, for example, 6 months after the JEE network, the study hours should be increased to 8 hours. And more focus should be given on reviewing and solving last year's JEE Mains and Advanced questions.

There is no specific timings and requirements needed. Everyone here knows their capacity and grasping speed and limits. But for IIT JEE most experts recommend that students should study at least six hours per day or about 42 hours per week (excluding time spent in training courses) to crack the exam in one go. However, this recommendation is only useful if you can create a schedule that meets your specific needs. Here are some tips to help you decide how many hours of daily effort are right for you.

3 months is not enough for the complete preparation, but YES, the selective preparation can be done in 3 months.

You can check out the important chapters with more weightage and the learn the topics which are asked again and again in the previous exams.

Show your weaknesses and strengths and work accordingly.

Don't try to do everything at this point.

And the most important is the questions from the previous year.

Yes, an ordinary student can break IIT JEE, as long as they are willing to work hard and consistently. Many high school students finished the JEE with a good mark.

Excluding IIT (i.e. JEE Advanced) is not an easy task and cannot be measured on any scale of brain performance. It is something that requires a lot of determination, commitment, theoretical knowledge, a great interest in the subjects/subjects, and intelligent and effective learning.

You know history has more to offer. The talent is overrated. Talent and intelligence are nowhere near as important as you might think when breaking the JEE. What causes more impact than talent or intelligence? It is mental suffering.

Your mental stamina plays an important role than anything else when it comes to achieving your goals. This is good news because it is not much you can do about the genes you were born with, but there is much you can do to build mental resilience.

Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) across India offer various programs for Undergraduates (UG), Graduates (PG), and PhD (PhD) mainly in the fields of Science, Engineering, and Engineering technology. 23 IITs in India together offer over 250 Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs in various specializations.

It depends on when your concentration is high. A lot of people say morning focus is good and is a good time to study, but I believe the time varies from person to person. So it's entirely up to you when you feel the most focused.

Self-study is very important and will help you throughout your life. Yes, that is enough for IIT JEE if you are determined to do it. And for self-study, you must have a few things to help you out and I prefer that you refer to popular books like HC Verma, etc.

Video presentations are also very helpful here. There are many advantages to video courses when preparing for IIT JEE. Several institutions offer video lessons and help you with this.

Applicants who pass/passed Class XII can apply for JEE Main. The NTA has also eliminated the weighting of Class 12 for the calculation of the All India ranking. After several boards cancelled their pending jobs, this year the CSAB requires the candidate to have at least 75% of the points on the board or be in the first 20 percentiles of grade 12 exams for admission to NITs and other CFTIs should be excluded. Applicants who complete the JEE Main 2020 only need the 12th passing certificate to be admitted, regardless of how many points they earn. The IITs have already announced the relaxation of percentage approval criteria this year.

Talking about the level of questions asked in JEE is much more difficult than in NEET. If you have just prepared for NEET, you may not be able to solve most JEE issues. However, if you are talking about issues over time, here is a similar type of relationship between the two reviews.

As with NEET, the questions asked are very simple, leaving you only 1 minute to solve while you have 4 minutes to solve a single JEE question. Therefore, it is obvious that the questions asked in JEE are more difficult than those asked in NEET.

And now my third opinion on the review. When you talk about the proportion of choices, NEET is harder than JEE.

2013 IIT JEE AIR 1 - Pallerla Sai Sandeep Reddy

Perla Sai Sandeep Reddy was admitted to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay in the field of computer science. He wishes to continue his studies in robotic technology.

2014 IIT JEE AIR 1- Chitraang Murdia

Chitraang Murdia did his B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai. Your goal is to do some research. After his first year, he left IIT Bombay to join the Applied Physics Department at MIT. He believes that research has a lot of leeways and a desire to give something back to society.

The JEE program typically includes everything taught in grades 11 and 12. Therefore, if the preparation is taken very seriously, 2 years is sufficient for the preparation of the JEE. However, it is not only the 2 years that are important here but also the solid foundation of the concepts that were formed in the previous years - from the 1 to the 10th year. If a student has a good understanding of the concepts taught from 1 to 10 also has good problem-solving skills, 2 years of JEE preparation would be enough to break the JEE.

However, if a student has not received any training before Grade 11, they should practice problem-solving mental skills to develop their problem-solving skills.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the admission criteria for JEE Main 2020 in the official brochure. The type of IIT JEE questionnaire is fundamentally different from that of the board. Each question is very investigative and inherently difficult as a puzzle. The questions test the student's academic, analytical, alertness, and approach skills to various aspects of the topic. The roles of the Std card. XII is as simple as those on the Std card.

There are only three subjects in IIT JEE: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. IIT JEE covers almost all topics from Std.XI and Std.XII and some other topics at a higher level, as well as some even from Std.X. (Their weight on the IIT exam paper is generally: Std.X - 5%, Std.XI 45%, Std.XII - 45%, Superior - 5%).

As mentioned above, the IIT JEE study program also includes the Std.XII program. Therefore, preparation for IIT JEE will not interfere with Std.XII studies. A well planned and well-coordinated effort for IIT JEE will certainly help to prepare Std.XII.

As known, IIT JEE is one of the toughest entrance exams in the country. The AIEEE program is similar to that of IIT JEE. The MHT-CET program is also the same as the Board Exam Std.XII. As already mentioned, IIT JEE also covers the Std.XII program.

Therefore, preparation for IIT JEE not only helps students to successfully manage IIT JEE but also helps them prepare better and more effectively for technical entrance exams of other levels across India. , such as the AIEEE, and government technical entrance exams, such as MHT-CET.

According to the new standards, the performance of Class 12 plates has become essential for entering the country's top engineering schools, including IIT. The aspirant must be on the top 20 percentile list of the relevant Class 12 Council and have passed the JEE Advanced exams as merit.

The decision to add 40% weight to the grade 12 table was made because many students were less focused and used their energy in technical preparation. These students passed the JEE Advanced exams but had only average grades in grade 12. To strike a balance between these two tests, it was decided to add some weights.

Students taking technical entrance exams may have questions about the number of attempts at JEE Main 2020. The National Testing Agency, the regulator of JEE Main 2020, has made several changes during the year. past year regarding the eligibility of what to do This has created a cloud of confusion related to the number of attempts at JEE Main 2020. The NTA takes the exam twice a year and with this change students have doubts about the number of attempts at JEE Main 2020. The NTA has made it clear that students in the year in which they passed the 12th-grade exam twice a year for three consecutive times may appear on JEE Main in subsequent years. This makes JEE Main a series of six attempts in three years. Students can read below for details on the number of attempts at JEE Main 2020 and more details on eligibility criteria.

The best candidates can apply for admission to B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch / B. Planning. Courses in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs has taken through the Central Seat Allocation Board are based on the All India ranking, provided the candidate has achieved at least 75% of the points in the 12th or 12th exam year in the first 20 percentiles is a class/aptitude test by the respective committees. For SC / ST applicants, grade 12 qualification scores/qualifying exam would be 65%.

Yes, AIEEE and JEE Main are in some respects equal to applicants after completing these exams and are admitted to engineering courses at NITs, government-funded engineering institutes or private institutes. However, you cannot take these exams for IIT. To be admitted to engineering in IITs it is necessary to qualify for JEE Main and then appear for JEE Advanced, which applicants need to clarify.

The JEE core sample and curriculum was published by CBSE. The JEE Mains score applies to entry into B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch. JEE Main will have two articles, an article I will consist of sections of chemistry, physics, and mathematics, while article II will have aptitude, design, and mathematics.

Before preparing for IIT JEE, you should understand the curriculum and model of both roles. To facilitate preparation, it is important to fragment the program and set a deadline for this program. The next step is to select the best books to prepare for IIT JEE.

The 11th and 12th place NCERT books for the three disciplines (chemistry, mathematics, and physics) should be worked on at the start of preparation. Many books to learn about the concept should be avoided.

The tenacity of the preparation depends on your preparation. If your preparation is good, the paper will automatically be easy on you, and if your preparation is not good, the paper can be difficult to solve. Sometimes it happens that this question is asked in JEE very difficult, but these questions are difficult for any student. So you don't have to think about all those unnecessary things and focus on your preparation.

JEE Main is a nationwide entrance examination administered annually to allow admission to B.Tech courses offered by NIT, IIIT, and CFTI. Candidates have the option of trying to take the JEE core test online or offline, as it is administered in both modes. This leads to further confusion for candidates who now find it difficult to understand the subtle differences between the two modes. So, take the offline master test or the JEE exam online - whichever mode you choose to help the candidates solve all of their questions. Each type of exam has its advantages and disadvantages. It is up to the candidate to understand each aspect and decide which mode he chooses: the JEE Master Exam offline or online.

NTA previously opened the correction facility for undergraduates, in which candidates must individually indicate on their application forms that they are in both JEE Main and NDA. Examinations Candidates who have not yet been able to notify NTA of a discrepancy in their exams during the above correction period are encouraged to visit the website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) and check the column "Either for N.D.A. & N. Exam (I)."

The grades obtained by students are essential and not important or important to the JEE exams. why? We will look at the reasons on this page and understand exactly how Grade 12 scores affect JEE exams.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has the authority to conduct JEE exams starting in 2019. The Examination Board has made some changes to the eligibility criteria for JEE exams. We'll look at them from a twelfth-row perspective.

It is difficult to pass national competitive tests such as IIT JEE. Many students dream of completing an engineering degree at Top IIT. JEE Mains and JEE Advanced cannot be decoded in a few days or months, but it does require continuous efforts over a long two years. If a student has focused and studied regularly, he will certainly be successful in reviewing the concept daily and answering questions on each topic on the first attempt.

School hours have no fixed rules, only a few students study for two hours, about 4 hours. The important thing is for the student to always remember this when studying. While studying chemistry, focus completely on the specific chemistry topic and don't think about mathematics or physics during that time. Review after study is very important. Wait for one to two hours to solve the questions you study. Therefore, a 4-5 hour study of Grade 11 is beneficial for JEE.

When the exam date approaches, say 6 months after JEE, study hours should be increased to 8 hours. Focus more on reviewing and solving JEE Mains and Advanced question papers last year.

After 10th place, the student is ineligible for admission to IIT in the course. It should reach 12th place with 75% for candidates in the General and OBC-NCL categories and 65% for candidates in the SC, ST and PwD categories. A candidate who wants to pass the IIT JEE must score 12th with 75% for General and OBC and 65% for other reserved categories such as SC, ST, and PwD.

Grade 12th is so important to JEE that 40% of the score is considered for the qualifying exam, that is, the twelfth board exam and 60% for JEE Mains. JEE Mains is the admission criteria for appearing in JEE Advanced for entry into IIT. Minimum qualifications are required for JEE Mains, but these minimum qualifications differ for candidates of various categories: in 2018, the minimum qualifications for general candidates were 74, for OBC-NCL 45, for SC 29, for ST 29 the minimum number of points was 24, the minimum score for persons with disabilities was -35.

Yes, it has been confirmed that JEE Main 2019 is now being implemented by NTA (National Testing Agency). Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar announced at a press conference on July 7, 2018, that JEE Main, the IIT screening test, will be held twice a year, in January and April. The exam is administered by the NTA (National Testing Agency), which is created to conduct "computer-based" tests to select students for the best state-funded medical and engineering colleges instead of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Yeah. You are eligible to appear on JEE Main after your admission to NIT. But as stated in the previous answer, it is really difficult to manage undergraduate academics and prepare JEE at the same time. You have two other options:

1) Take a year to carefully prepare for JEE and enroll in the university of your choice (the pass rate observed in these cases is very low).

2) If there is no branch of your choice, you can make the same (or even less) effort from university academics until you can update/change your branch at the end of the first year

Yes, there are negative evaluations of single and multiple comprehension and answer questions. However, there is no negative score for the correct number type, and sometimes there is no negative score for understanding. The work is divided into three departments: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

The topic is divided into three sections.

In Test 1: Correct and comprehensive single correct multiple questions.

In Clause 2: Multiple correct questions, understand.

These patterns can be reversed or changed. However, the questions only come in the form of simple, multiple, and complete questions and comprehension questions. You must read the instructions and label the system carefully before reading the document.

In 2014, students took 13.6 lakhs for the IIT-JEE exams and there were only 9,784 places available in all IITs combined. This is an acceptance rate of only 0.7%. But while IIT-JEE is the toughest test in the world, Harvard's 5.8% acceptance rate is among the lowest in the United States, making it 8 times easier to enter than IIT. Although the IIT-JEE exam is very difficult, the number of applicants continues to increase each year. In 2013, 10 Lakh students appeared on JEE against 5 lakhs the previous year. This number rose to 13.6K in 2014. The reasons are simple: a position at IIT-JEE guarantees an optimistic future with full jobs and a high salary.

Getting into IIT through JEE seems like a nightmare for many applicants. Most of the time, students are stressed and not eating and sleeping properly. Few of them will be constantly sitting with books without eating or sleeping. Although IIT JEE requires a lot of preparation and dedication, getting a good night's sleep and managing class time is very important at the same time. The brain also needs adequate rest in the form of sleep, and students need to get enough sleep to study productively. It is also important to be in good health. Therefore, 6-7 hours of sleep is a must.

The school timetable has no hard and fast rules, few students study for two hours, a few hours. One important thing that a student should remember during his studies, he should be fully interested in it. While you are studying the subject of chemistry, fully focus on this specific subject of chemistry, and do not think about math or physics during this time. Reviewing after study is very important, set aside 1 to 2 hours to solve the questions you have studied. Therefore, a 4-5 hour study from the eleventh semester would be beneficial for JEE.

As the exam date approaches, say 6 months of JEE Mains, study hours should be increased to 8 hours. Over the past year, he has focused more on reviewing and solving the JEE Mains and Advanced question papers.

Study hours differ from student to student, and also according to the course or competition a student is studying for. For a normal course, 1 hour per subject will be a good strategy, whereas preparation for any competitive exam demands proper management of time and schedule for each day. One should be regular and stick to the schedule made for each day. For competitive exams at least 6-7 hours study is mandatory.

Now that the main JEE 2017 score has been announced, the score/score combination will determine the candidates' chances of acceptance. Based on their 2017 JEE Best Scores and 2017 JEE Best Coins, admission will be offered to applicants through NIT, IIIT, and GFTI. However, the final deciding factors for many applicants for admission will be the branch and the B.Tech institute they acquire. At this point, students are faced with a dilemma: to be accepted into the branch and institute offered to them or leave the position offered to them, and to prepare for the next year to improve their grades and their chances of success. 'admission.

The decision you make about a JEE should be thought afterthought and you should make it after receiving suggestions from those around you. But this should be your last option so you don't blame anyone later.

There are many factors to consider when making this choice and whether it is worth it. You need to analyze your past performance. If your previous performance was also very good and you think you can improve it quite well, it will be satisfactory for you and it will be worth it. But if you feel that you have reached most of your potential and you don't have much space left, then you had better go to the best university you can get, work hard and achieve something. good thing there. Be practical in thinking about it and don't ignore the enthusiasm you might have at the time.

Online platform: BITSAT is a fully online test, while an optional JEE Main can be taken online. The number of students who award JEE Main offline is still very high. So for BITSAT, since many people do not take the online exam, anyone with good online exam practice easily gains an advantage.

Level of questions: Since the number of questions in BITSAT is greater than that of JEE Main and the time available is less, it is very obvious that the level of difficulty of the problems is lower compared to JEE Main, therefore the paper BITSAT is much simpler and you need a fast and efficient solution in less time.
